Glitch 2026 at a glance
Glitch is the festival serious house and techno heads fly to Malta for. Intimate, open-air and Mediterranean, it draws a crowd from more than 80 countries and has a connoisseur reputation that outweighs its size. The 10th-anniversary edition runs 12–15 August 2026: an opening party on 12 August at the Valletta Ditch, the main festival on 13–14 August at Gianpula Village (limits of Rabat), and a closing party on 15 August — wrapped in boat parties and after-hours. Confirm on the official site.
The 2026 line-up
The bill skews deep and driving: Amelie Lens, Ben Klock b2b Rødhåd, VTSS, DJ Nobu b2b Wata Igarashi, Skin On Skin and Mall Grab lead 100+ artists across the stages, with names like Chris Stussy, KI/KI, Dax J and SPFDJ also on board. See the official line-up.
It's sold out — how to still get in
The 2026 festival is sold out, with only some closing-party tickets noted as remaining at the time of writing. Ticketing is via Paylogic on the official site, and the only sanctioned resale is TicketSwap — avoid touts. Tickets are sealed and only downloadable from 9 August, so don't panic if yours isn't in hand earlier. Bring valid photo ID; the minimum age is 17+ (note: not 18). Tiers are block passes, day tickets and VIP; exact prices aren't published on the official pages, so check there.
How international visitors do Malta
Glitch is built for travellers — most of the crowd flies in:
- Fly into Malta International Airport (MLA) at Luqa, the island's only airport.
- Base yourself in St Julian's, Sliema or Gżira — the nightlife hub, walkable to bars and to the Sliema Ferry where the Glitch boat parties depart.
- Use the official festival buses to Gianpula (running from Gżira and Qawra); on-site parking is limited.
- It's August in the Mediterranean — hot days, warm nights, open-air floors. Pace yourself across the four days and hydrate.
